Job summary

EDP Renewables is seeking a Wind Technician III for the Blue Canyon Wind Farm in Carnegie, OK. You will troubleshoot complex electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems to keep wind turbines operating safely and efficiently.

You will lead major corrective work, perform advanced diagnostics, gather data, prepare reports, and mentor junior staff while maintaining strict safety standards. On-call and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of college or technical school education or equivalent.
• Ability to operate motor vehicle and hold a valid driver's license.
• Experience with wind plant operations and major repair work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of wind turbines and equipment.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting for component repair with diagnostics.
• Lead major correctives, retrofits and component replacements.
• Adhere to safety standards and mentor junior staff.
• Document work using service reporting procedures.
