Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to lead environmental consulting projects in Cleveland from planning through delivery. You will manage scope, schedule, budgets, and client communications while coordinating field and office resources to meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

You will mentor staff, support business development, and prepare proposals, change orders, and technical reports.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Natural/Environmental Science, Geology, or related field.
• PE or PG preferred; licensure may be required depending on work performed.
• Strong knowledge of environmental principles, regulations, and permits.
• Proven project management and consulting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and develop client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manages environmental projects from initiation through completion.
• Coordinates scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
• Mentors junior staff and supports team development.
• Maintains regular client communication and builds relationships.
• Prepares proposals, scopes of work, budgets, and change orders.
• Prepares environmental reports and technical analyses.
• Directs staff during project execution and field investigations.
