Job summary

ECS Florida, LLC is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to lead environmental consulting projects from initiation through completion. The role emphasizes planning, staffing, technical delivery, client communication, and financial oversight while upholding ECS Core Values.

Candidate will direct field activities, manage budgets, mentor staff, and maintain client relationships. Strong knowledge of environmental principles and regulations is required, with PE or PG preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related experience
• Bachelor's and/or Master's of Science in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Natural or Environmental Science, Geology, or related field
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) preferred
• Strong knowledge of environmental principles, regulations, and test methods
• Ability to manage multiple projects and build client relationships
• Ability to mentor and develop technical staff
• Willingness to perform field activities including lifting field equipment (~40 lbs) and driving as needed

• Directs project setup, field implementation, and staffing
• Oversees groundwater, soil, and media investigations
• Reviews field reports and project documentation
• Develops site work plans, sampling plans, and field logistics
• Manages project budgets, change orders, invoices, and collections
• Mentors junior staff and supports team development
• Maintains regular communication with clients and develops client relationships
• Prepares environmental reports, analyses, and recommendations
• Leads project discussions with clients and stakeholders
• Coordinates field and office resources to support execution
