Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Tampa is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to lead environmental consulting projects of low to moderate complexity through all phases, ensuring quality, schedule, budget, and safety.

You will coordinate field operations, mentor staff, support business development, manage budgets and client communications, and build lasting client relationships while upholding ECS Core Values.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's and/or Master's in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Natural or Environmental Science, Geology, or related field.
• A professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) is preferred.
• Additional licensure or certifications may be required depending on work performed.
• Strong project management and consulting skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs project setup and field implementation activities.
• Manages groundwater, soil, and media investigations.
• Prepares reports and technical recommendations for senior review.
• Manages project budgets and monitors financial performance.
• Mentors junior staff and supports team development.
• Maintains regular communication with clients and develops client relationships.
• Coordinates field and office resources to support project execution.
