Job summary

Verilife is seeking a Lead Wellness Advisor to guide customers in selecting cannabis products aligned with their needs. You will lead a team, mentor new hires, and ensure state compliance while delivering best-in-class service.

You will train on product knowledge, ensure accurate order processing, and uphold safety and security standards across shifts, including weekends and holidays. This role emphasizes customer education and team leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years’ experience in customer service; cannabis experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work opening, closing, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to engage with customers.
• Ability to learn cannabinoids and how they interact with the human body.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds (100 with assistance).

Responsibilities

• Assist Wellness Advisors in customer consultations or handling standard questions or complaints.
• Assist customers in product selection through education of cannabis products and their varying impacts.
• Apply effective selling and cross-selling techniques to build baskets.
• Verify proper documentation, including ID for customers.
• Assist in verifying the accuracy of orders dispensed to customers in a timely fashion.
• Perform accurate cash handling in the POS system and follow SOPs.
