Job summary

Alfa Laval in Broken Arrow, OK seeks a Team Lead to coordinate daily team activities and monitor performance. You will act as a link between the team and support functions, ensuring adherence to key processes and continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and training to close competence gaps. Candidates should have welding skills, blueprint literacy, and strong leadership capabilities to motivate a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred with relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience using multiple welding and cutting processes.
• Must pass Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) if PAPR is required.
• Proficient in MIG welding and oxyacetylene torch use.
• Knowledge of reading blueprints and basic math skills including tape measures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the daily work of the team/shift.
• Monitor processes and performance in the team/shift.
• Be a link between the team, support functions and TM.
• Develop and have good knowledge of the key processes and tools within the cell.
• Close competence gaps by training/coaching and running SOP audit dialogues.
• Control of quality, deviations and line stops together with TM.
• Focus on waste elimination and improvements.
• Drive meetings within cell (shift handover, cell meeting).
• Conduct daily work as a team member.
