Job summary

Alfa Laval in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma seeks a Team Lead to coordinate and support the daily work of the team/shift and monitor performance. This role acts as a bridge between the team, support functions and TM, developing core processes and driving improvements.

Safety, quality, and efficiency are emphasized through coaching, SOP adherence and waste elimination. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of Alfa Laval production experience, and strong leadership,

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; 1 year of Alfa Laval production experience preferred.
Training skills and office computer skills required.
Good knowledge of SOPs and processes within the team.
Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure and calipers.
Blueprint reading experience recommended; forklift/overhead crane experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and support the daily work of the team/shift.
Monitor processes and performance in the team/shift.
Act as a link between the team, support functions and TM.
Develop and maintain knowledge of key processes and tools within the cell.
Lead training/coaching and SOP audit dialogues to close competence gaps.
Control quality, deviations and line stops with TM; focus on waste elimination.
Drive shift meetings and manage daily work as a team member.
Create and follow up detailed plans for the cell; assist teammates with problem solving.
