Leigh & Co. Events, a dynamic wedding planning company, is seeking a Lead Wedding Coordinator in Vermont. This contract position allows for a flexible schedule and involves leading the planning and execution of weddings. Responsibilities include coordinating with clients, managing vendors, and ensuring a smooth event experience. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of planning experience and must be detail-oriented with strong communication skills. Training is provided, and pay is $350 for each project based on hours worked.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience as a wedding planner or event planner.
• Reliable transportation needed.
• Ability to carry and lift 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Attend final details call with clients to confirm logistics.
• Lead ceremony rehearsal the day before the wedding.
• Serve as primary advocate for the couple onsite.
• Oversee ceremony and reception setup according to design.
• Manage wedding day execution from vendor arrival to breakdown.
• Greet and direct all vendors during the event.
• Communicate setup instructions clearly to vendors.
• Assist with placement of personal and event details.
• Support wedding party and family members with guidance.
• Ensure end-of-event items are packed and accounted for.
• Proactively manage any issues or last-minute changes.
