Job summary

Leigh & Co. Events is seeking a Lead Wedding Coordinator in Utah. This contract role allows you to pick your own schedule. Responsibilities include overseeing wedding day execution and supporting couples onsite. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years experience in wedding or event planning, strong communication skills, and the ability to work weekends. Training is provided, with pay of $350 per project, approximately 10-12 hours of work.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years experience as a wedding planner or event planner.
• Ability to work weekends is essential.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to carry and lift 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Attend a final details call with clients approximately 6 weeks prior to the wedding.
• Lead and facilitate the ceremony rehearsal on the day prior to the wedding.
• Serve as the primary advocate for the couple onsite.
• Oversee ceremony and reception setup in alignment with the event design.
• Manage full wedding day execution from initial vendor arrival through final breakdown.
• Greet, direct, and act as the main point of contact for all vendors.
• Communicate setup instructions clearly to vendors.
• Coordinate and assist with placement of personal and event details.
• Support the wedding party and family members with guidance.
• Ensure all end-of-event items are properly packed.
• Proactively manage and resolve any issues or last-minute changes.
