Job summary

Leigh & Co. Events, a fast-growing wedding planning company, is seeking a Lead Wedding Coordinator in New Jersey. This is a contract role allowing for a flexible schedule. Responsibilities include managing the wedding day execution and supporting the couple throughout the event. Candidates must have 2 years of experience as a wedding planner, strong communication skills, and the ability to work weekends. The position offers training and pay of $350 for 10-12 hours per project.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years experience as a wedding planner or event planner.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to carry and lift 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Attend a final details call with clients approximately 6 weeks prior to the wedding.
• Lead and facilitate the ceremony rehearsal the day prior to the wedding.
• Serve as the primary advocate for the couple onsite during the wedding.
• Oversee ceremony and reception setup in alignment with the event design.
• Manage full wedding day execution from initial vendor arrival to final breakdown.
