Job summary

knowmad mood is seeking a seasoned WordPress engineer to own and evolve our corporate website post-launch, ensuring performance, security, accessibility and scalable growth. You will implement landing pages, campaigns and content components, while maintaining hosting, backups and governance.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of WordPress development, strong front-end skills and hands-on experience with plugins, deployment, SEO and cross-browser testing in a collaborative marketing/tech environment.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience developing and maintaining business-critical WordPress websites.
Strong front-end development skills in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript, with practical PHP and WordPress development experience.
Experience building custom themes, page templates, reusable components and responsive landing pages.
Experience managing plugins, hosting environments, staging, deployment, version control and website security.
Experience with technical SEO, performance optimization, cross-browser testing and accessibility standards.

Responsibilities

Own the technical operation of the corporate website following agency handover, ensuring the platform remains reliable, secure, accessible and scalable.
Monitor site availability, performance and Core Web Vitals; diagnose and resolve defects, broken functionality and integration issues.
Develop and extend WordPress themes, templates and custom functionality.
Extend the site with new sections, journeys, capabilities and integrations based on business priorities.
Test new functionality across devices and browsers to ensure quality, security and performance.
