Job summary

The Municipality of Anchorage IT department is seeking a Web Services Supervisor to lead the Web Applications team, ensuring reliable, cost-effective software solutions for city units.

Under the direction of the IT Portfolio Manager, you will oversee resources, coordinate performance reporting, and ensure compliance with MOA policies and contracts. A CJIS background check is required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ten (10) years of related professional level experience, with two (2) years in supervisory capacity.
• Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Public Administration or related discipline with eight (8) years of related experience, two in supervision.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Public Administration or related discipline with six (6) years of related experience, two in supervision.
• Satisfactory background check including criminal, education, and employment history.
• CJIS background check within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Web Applications team to support municipal software needs.
• Oversee resource allocation and team effort reporting.
• Ensure systems are operational and meet evolving customer needs.
• Review changes to ensure contract compliance with MOA policy and industry best practices.
