Job summary

Consor Engineers in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Water/Wastewater Treatment Engineer (PE) to lead design and delivery of municipal treatment facilities. You will evaluate treatment needs, develop process solutions, and prepare technical deliverables with high-quality documentation.

The role offers opportunities for technical leadership, client engagement, and mentorship in a collaborative environment; a PE license is required and a bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field is expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive experience in water and/or wastewater treatment engineering.
• Familiarity with treatment process modeling, permitting, and regulatory coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or related engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and evaluation of water and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Develop process flow diagrams, plans, specifications, and technical memoranda.
• Prepare engineering reports, feasibility studies, master plans, and permitting documentation.
• Perform process calculations for treatment systems (filtration, disinfection, biological treatment, solids handling).
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, mechanical, and structural teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and support client engagements.
