Water & Wastewater Treatment Engineer - EIT (Master's level)

Consor Engineers is seeking a Water/Wastewater Treatment Engineer (EIT) to join our Phoenix, AZ office. You will support the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities serving municipal clients. This position provides handson exposure to treatment processes and facility design while building a strong foundation for longterm career growth.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the planning and design of water and wastewater treatment facilities, including new facilities, expansions, and rehabilitation projects
  • Assisting with treatment process evaluations, calculations, and system sizing
  • Preparing technical memoranda, engineering reports, feasibility studies, and planning documents
  • Assisting with development of plans, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical engineers
  • Supporting high quality, client focused project delivery

This hybrid position fluctuates between an office environment and a field environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, and copy machines. This job will require occasional exposure to work environments that may include inclement weather, heat, humidity, noise, construction hazards, atmospheric conditions, and bodies of water, depending on project requirements.

While performing the duties of this job, physical demands of the employee include frequent sitting, walking, standing, talking, hearing, and occasional balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, and feeling. This job will require operating a company vehicle, and may include lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 35 lbs.
