Job summary

Consor Engineers in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Senior Water/Wastewater Treatment Engineer / Project Manager to lead complex municipal treatment facility projects. You will guide design, delivery, and client engagement from concept through construction, balancing technical leadership with strong project management capabilities.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, and I&C disciplines, and contribute to business development while ensuring quality

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in water and/or wastewater treatment engineering with facility design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or closely related engineering.
• Proven track record in managing engineering projects and leading technical teams.
• Strong technical writing, communication, and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager and/or Technical Lead for water and wastewater treatment facility projects.
• Oversee scope, schedule, budget, and quality from concept through construction.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, and I&C groups.
• Develop and review technical deliverables: reports, feasibility studies, calculations, plans and specs.
• Provide technical leadership in filtration, disinfection, biological treatment, and residuals handling.
• Maintain primary client relationships and pursue new opportunities and interviews.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers for career growth and technical excellence.
• Support quality control and assurance across treatment projects.
