Job summary

You will own design, mentor staff, coordinate with clients, and manage scope, schedule, and fees, with travel across Virginia and occasional overnight. Full-time, in-person or hybrid.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
• 5–10 years of water and wastewater engineering experience for mid-level.
• 10–15+ years for senior level.
• Virginia PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months by comity.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and design of water distribution, sanitary sewer, and stormwater systems.
• Perform hydraulic modeling using WaterCAD, SewerCAD, or equivalent.
• Prepare reports, master plans, and capacity analyses; develop plans, specs, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with municipal utilities and public service authorities; manage scope, schedule, and budgets.
• Mentor engineers and EITs; represent Racey at industry events.
