Job summary

LPX Group is seeking a capable Superintendent to lead on-site construction and renovation of water and wastewater facilities around Indianapolis, IN. You will supervise safety, scheduling, field teams, and coordination with subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role requires three+ years as a Superintendent on water or wastewater projects and 7+ years in related field work, plus strong leadership, communication, and the ability to interpret drawings and schedules.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of experience as a Superintendent on water or wastewater construction projects.
• 7+ years of hands-on field experience in water/wastewater facility construction or related infrastructure.
• Strong leadership and collaborative communication skills.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, documents, and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site leadership for safety, scheduling, workforce planning, coordination, cost control, and adherence to company policies.
• Direct day-to-day operations of field teams and subcontractors, ensuring quality and timely execution.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to plan, sequence, and monitor construction and procurement activities.
• Review documents, drawings, specs, and submittals for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor budgets, approve expenditures, and assist with change orders.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure clear communication with stakeholders.
• Ensure safety protocols and identify training needs.
• Evaluate crew performance and mentor foremen to resolve on-site challenges.
