Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. is seeking a Lead Engineer (Water/Wastewater construction) to oversee onsite engineering for water and wastewater projects in the Mid-Atlantic, with opportunities in DC, Maryland, and Virginia.

You will plan, develop, coordinate, and manage project engineering activities, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and project schedules, using Primavera P6. A Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and 5+ years' relevant experience are preferred; PE

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or related field.
5+ years of construction engineering experience.
Bridge experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Plan, develop, coordinate, and manage on-site construction engineering activities.
Ensure engineering work complies with contract requirements and supports the schedule.
Provide technical support for planning, design interpretation, and construction methods.
Develop and administer project engineering procedures and submittals, RFIs, and payments.
Represent Kokosing in meetings with clients, design teams, and management.
Interface on-site departments to resolve issues and maintain quality.
Oversee pre-construction, design-build, and business development for the project.
Perform additional assignments as directed.
