Job summary

Kokosing seeks a Lead Engineer (Water/Wastewater construction) for the Mid-Atlantic region, open to DC, Maryland, and Virginia markets. You will manage on-site construction engineering activities for water/wastewater projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 5+ years of construction engineering experience.
• Bridge experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage project engineering personnel and activities.
• Ensure activities meet company/contract requirements and support schedule.
• Provide technical support for construction planning and design.
• Develop project engineering procedures and submittals/RFI’s/expediting material deliveries.
• Represent company in meetings with A/E, client, and project management.
• Interface on-site departments to resolve problems and support schedule.
• Oversee pre-construction services, design-build, and business development.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.
