Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. is seeking a Lead Engineer (Water/Wastewater construction) in the Mid-Atlantic, open to candidates in the DC, Maryland, Virginia markets. This on-site role requires strong civil/construction engineering background and leadership of project engineering teams.

You will plan, develop, coordinate, and manage onsite engineering activities for Water/Wastewater projects, ensuring schedule adherence and quality, while interfacing with multiple departments and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent technical training and related experience.
• 5+ years of similar construction engineering experience.
• Bridge experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage project engineering and related personnel functions and activities.
• Ensure project engineering activities comply with company and contract requirements and support overall construction schedule (Primavera P6).
• Provide technical support for construction effort including participation in construction planning and design; interpretation of design; application of construction methods; resolution and documentation of design conflicts; contractibility reviews, etc.
