Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. is seeking a Lead Engineer (Water/Wastewater construction) in the Mid-Atlantic, open to candidates in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia markets.

This onsite role focuses on planning, coordinating, and managing on-site construction engineering activities for water and wastewater projects. You will lead project engineering staff, ensure compliance with contract requirements and schedules (Primavera P6), provide technical support for design and construction, and manage submittals, RFIs,

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, plus demonstrated ability to manage a team of varied disciplines.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage project engineering and related personnel functions and activities.
• Ensure project engineering activities comply with company and contract requirements and support overall construction schedule (Primavera P6).
• Provide technical support for construction effort including participation in construction planning and design; interpretation of design; application of construction methods; resolution and documentation of design conflicts; contractibility reviews, etc.
