Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. is seeking a Lead Engineer (Water/Wastewater construction) in the Mid-Atlantic, open to candidates in the DC, Maryland, Virginia markets.

The Lead Engineer will work onsite with the team to plan, develop, coordinate, and manage onsite construction engineering activities for Water/Wastewater projects. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, with 5+ years of relevant experience; bridge experience is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 5+ years of similar construction engineering experience.
• Bridge experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage project engineering and related personnel functions.
• Ensure project engineering activities comply with requirements and support construction schedule.
• Provide technical support for construction planning and design.
• Develop, implement and administer project engineering procedures and documents.
• Represent company during A/E, client and project management meetings.
• Interface on-site departments to resolve problems and support schedule.
• Oversee pre-construction services, design build services, and business development.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
