Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5 years in water/wastewater utility environment involving pipeline construction/maintenance and heavy equipment operation.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Georgia Department of Transportation Flagging certification.
• Must possess a valid Georgia Class A CDL.
• Must possess or obtain state certified license for water distribution or wastewater collection within 1 year of employment.
• Vocational training in Water/Wastewater Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and evaluates assigned staff and directs work assignments.
• Coordinates installation, maintenance, and repair of water and sewer service lines and AMI water meters.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and project drawings.
• Responds to emergency situations and standby calls; participates in traffic control setup.
