Zusammenfassung

Mannik Smith Group is seeking a Lead Water Resources Engineer in Glen Allen, Virginia. You will tackle drainage, stormwater, and hydrologic/hydraulic design for transportation projects across Virginia, with opportunities to grow technical expertise and assume greater project responsibility.

You will join a collaborative team, engage with multidisciplinary colleagues, and contribute to design, reporting, and compliance efforts while advancing your professional licensure.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 4–6 years of water resources design experience.
• EIT with intent to obtain PE licensure within 1 year or PE licensure.
• Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software (Ensoft/ HY-8, MicroStation, HEC-RAS, OpenRoads Designer).
• Strong communication skills for multidisciplinary collaboration.

Aufgaben

• Design stormwater management systems, culverts, storm drains and other drainage structures for roadways, highways and bridges.
• Manage hydraulic design elements on Transportation projects for DOT and locality tasks.
• Assist with environmental compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors and clients to integrate water resources designs with project objectives.
• Prepare detailed drainage calculations and technical reports for project submissions.
