Job summary

Wright-Pierce, an award-winning environmental engineering firm, seeks a Lead Water Project Engineer to join our Water team. You will plan, design, and administer construction for drinking water and wastewater projects, while supporting the Project Manager and team members.

A PE license and 7 years of relevant experience are required. Salary range is $85,000 - $140,000/yr, with final salary based on education, experience, certifications, and location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or similar).
• PE license required; seven years of water/wastewater project experience.
• Proficient with common software: AutoCAD, Revit preferred; MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and provide construction administration for drinking water and wastewater projects.
• Support Project Manager and team members.
• Perform hydraulic design for pumps and piping systems; asset management.

Wright-Pierce, an award-winning, multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater and civil infrastructure, is seeking a Lead Water Project Engineer to join our Water team. In this role, you will be involved with planning, design, and construction administration for drinking water and wastewater source, distribution, storage, and treatment projects. Salary range is $85,000 - $140,000/yr. NOTE: Final salary is based on education, experience, certifications, and location.

Responsibilities

• Planning, design, and construction administration for drinking water and wastewater source, distribution, storage, and treatment projects
• Provide support to Project Manager and other team members
• Hydraulic design for pump and piping systems
• Asset management
• Writing technical reports, memos, communications
• Working on pilot studies
• Field work and site visits for projects in various phases

Essential Functions

Experience

• 7 years of previous engineering experience working on a variety of drinking water or wastewater projects
• Commensurate experience with local, state, and federal regulatory and funding processes
• MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
• AutoCAD, Revit preferred

Education

• B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering or similar

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
