Ideal candidates have 2+ years in water mitigation, hold IICRC WRT certification, and can lead a team while communicating with clients and project managers. Flexible hours and safety compliance are expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in water mitigation or related field.
• IICRC WRT certification required; ASD preferred.
• Proficiency with drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture meters.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong leadership and client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise water mitigation crews on residential and commercial job sites.
• Perform water extraction, structural drying, and moisture mapping using industry-standard equipment.
• Conduct initial damage assessments and develop effective mitigation plans.
• Monitor and document drying progress using moisture meters and thermal imaging.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with IICRC S500 standards and safety protocols.
• Communicate job status updates to project managers, adjusters, and clients.
• Manage equipment inventory, placement, and daily monitoring logs.
• Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices and proper techniques.
