Arizona Restoration Contractors in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Water Mitigation Lead Technician to head critical restoration projects for homes and businesses. You will supervise crews, coordinate water extraction and drying, and ensure safety and standards.

The role requires 2+ years in water mitigation, IICRC WRT certification, and strong leadership. You’ll work nights and weekends as needed and mentor junior techs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in water mitigation or water damage restoration.
• IICRC WRT certification required; ASD preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise water mitigation crews on residential and commercial sites
• Perform water extraction, structural drying, and moisture mapping
• Conduct initial damage assessments and develop mitigation plans
• Monitor drying progress with moisture meters and thermal imaging
• Ensure work complies with IICRC S500 standards and safety protocols

• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with IICRC S500 standards and safety protocols
• Communicate job status updates to project managers, adjusters, and clients
• Manage equipment inventory, placement, and daily monitoring logs
• Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices and proper techniques

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in water mitigation, water damage restoration, or a related field
• IICRC WRT certification required. ASD preferred
• Proficiency with drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture meters
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a crew
• Excellent communication skills for client-facing interactions and documentation
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and on-call emergency response
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined or challenging environments
