Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Technical Manager, Water Infrastructure for the Mid-Atlantic region (Richmond, VA; Arlington, VA; Hunt Valley, MD). You will lead technical linear infrastructure designs for municipal and industrial clients, overseeing planning, execution and close-out while mentoring project teams.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering, 8+ years of water/wastewater/stormwater design experience, and a VA/DC/MD PE license.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience with water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure design.
• Proficiency with Federal, State, and local environmental regulations for municipal/industrial clients.
• Knowledge of major national/industrial design codes, standards and best practices.
• PE license in VA, DC and/or MD with reciprocity ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical linear infrastructure designs and prepare contract documents for municipal and industrial clients.
• Develop design concepts, criteria, analysis methods and constructability reviews.
• Prepare detailed design calculations, reports, plans and specifications with QA/QC and value engineering.
• Perform bid phase and construction phase services.
• Support business development, proposals, and project estimation.
• Coordinate and mentor technical staff; oversee project teams with People Management.
• Engage in technical societies to stay current with engineering standards.
