Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of experience in water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure design.
• Proficiency in federal, state and local environmental regulations for municipal/industrial projects.
• Knowledge of major national/industrial design codes, standards and best practices.
• PE license in VA/DC/MD or ability to obtain via reciprocity.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical linear infrastructure designs and prepare contract documents for municipal and industrial clients.
• Assist in development of design concepts, criteria, methodologies, and constructability reviews.
• Prepare detailed design calculations, reports, construction plans and specs; perform QA/QC and value engineering.
• Perform bid phase and construction phase services.
• Support business development, proposals, and project estimating.
