Job summary

Ramboll US Corporation is hiring a Technical Manager, Water Infrastructure to lead technical linear infrastructure designs in the Mid-Atlantic region, including Richmond, Arlington, and Hunt Valley. You will develop design concepts, prepare calculations and contract documents, and drive QA/QC and value engineering for complex projects.

You will also support business development, assist in proposals, plan projects, and mentor technical staff while collaborating with project managers to deliver

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
• 8+ years of water, wastewater and stormwater design experience.
• PE license in VA, DC or MD.
• Knowledge of design codes, standards and best practices for complex structures.
• Ability to obtain multiple licenses via reciprocity.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical linear infrastructure designs and prepare contract documents for municipal and industrial clients.
• Develop design concepts, criteria, analyses and constructability reviews.
• Prepare detailed design calculations, reports, plans and specs; perform QA/QC and value engineering.
• Provide bid phase and construction phase services.
• Support business development, project estimating and planning.
• Coordinate and mentor technical staff; oversee project teams.
• Engage in technical societies to stay current with standards and technologies.
