Job summary

BELFOR is seeking a Specialist in Water Damage - Advanced to lead drying and repair operations for residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings. The role covers planning, field supervision, and direct client service with emphasis on safety, documentation, and timely completion.

Qualifications include IICRC standards, advanced moisture tools, and strong English communication. Travel and after-hours work may be required to manage large losses and complex remediation projects.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard.
• Knowledge of IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard.
• IICRC ASD designation.
• Proficiency with moisture and imaging tools (IR camera, HydroSensor, Hygrometer, NavPro Moisture Meter).
• English language literacy and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Direct the teams in using the right PPE for the job.
• Review daily project requirements and document progress.
• Provide field documentation, photos, and sketches for projects.
• Draw sketches, read plans, develop humidity content records, and determine drying objectives.
• Calculate humidity load and project scope for large losses.
• Assess electrical consumption and temporary power needs for equipment.
• Ensure vehicle safety and maintenance; keep tools in good condition.
• Comply with BELFOR standards to safeguard client property.
• Travel as needed; work nights and weekends as required.
