Veolia North America, LLC in Massachusetts seeks an Assistant Chief Wastewater Operator to lead plant and collection system operations, ensure permit compliance, and train new operators. This role also participates in an on-call rotation to ensure coverage outside regular shifts and supports maintenance work as needed.

This position requires knowledge of wastewater technology, adherence to SOPs, and the ability to work in an on-site environment with safety as a priority.

Competenze

• High School or GED with ability to communicate in writing and orally.
• Associate's or Bachelor's in science/technical field strongly preferred.
• At least one year of experience in an operations environment; wastewater tech knowledge preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Ensures conformance to process specifications; troubleshoots and corrects issues per procedure.
• Monitors process supplies/tools and recommends reorder/replacement.
• Performs routine and preventive maintenance (PM) and related items.
• Leads PM activities, assists with work order scheduling and records.
