Job summary

Lambert's Cable seeks a Lead Warehouse Technician to manage receipt, storage, and distribution of goods within a safety-focused environment. You will ensure accurate order fulfillment, track inventory, and supervise material handling while applying packaging standards and working with forklifts and pallet jacks.

The role requires five years in warehouse operations, a valid driver license, DOT physical eligibility, and proficiency with computer/inventory systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum five years of warehouse or material handling experience.
• Experience with inventory control systems and basic computer use.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and prepare periodic audits as needed.
• Resolve shortages and manage packaging material restocking needs.
• Prepare and verify orders for shipment according to pick tickets and customer requirements.
• Check and verify inventory to ensure availability of needed stock.
• Package and ship products according to packaging guidelines and practices.
• Stock shelves in the warehouse and put away new materials.
• Organize pick tickets and cross-check them with packing slips and work orders.
• Receive, unload, and inspect shipments; confirm accuracy with packing slips and purchase orders.
• Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift for loading and unloading materials.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
