Job summary

Lambert's Cable is seeking a Lead Warehouse Technician to manage receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. You will ensure orders are filled accurately, track inventory, and follow safety and packaging guidelines while operating equipment. The role requires heavy travel.

You will conduct inspections, resolve shortages, prepare orders, and verify shipments. A DOT physical, forklift experience, and 5 years in warehousing are required. This position is on-site with travel expectations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED equivalence, or relevant work experience.
• Five years of warehouse or material handling experience.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience.
• Valid State driver\'s license with clean driving record.
• Able to pass a DOT physical exam and obtain a medical card.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• Knowledge of computer and inventory control systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and prepare periodic audits as needed.
• Resolve shortages and manage packaging material restocking needs.
• Prepare and verify orders for shipment according to pick tickets and customer requirements.
• Check and verify inventory to ensure availability of needed stock.
• Package and ship products according to packaging guidelines and practices.
• Stock shelves in the warehouse and put away new materials.
• Organize pick tickets and cross-check them with packing slips and work orders.
• Receive, unload, and inspect shipments; confirm accuracy with packing slips and purchase orders.
• Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift for loading and unloading materials.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
