Job summary

The Lead Warehouse Associate at Saddle Creek Logistics Services oversees the handling of customer products, including loading and unloading, and assigns work to warehouse staff to meet customer needs.

Key responsibilities include supervising tasks, completing reports, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring safety and quality in all warehouse operations to deliver high service levels.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Able to perform physically exerting duties in a variable temperature warehouse.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to warehouse personnel and supervise execution.
• Complete reports and records in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot machine and equipment malfunctions with maintenance.
• Advise associates on care, use of equipment, storage, and shipping stock.
• Ensure high-quality customer service by assisting warehouse functions and enforcing safety, quality, and productivity procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain safe, efficient operations and adherence to site policies.
