Job summary

Saddle Creek Corporation in Wisconsin is seeking a Lead Warehouse Associate to oversee the handling of customer products, including loading and unloading, and to assign work to warehouse staff to meet customer needs.

The role requires at least 2 years in a warehouse environment, high school diploma or equivalent, ability to pass screenings, and a commitment to safety and quality. You will supervise colleagues, complete records, and coordinate with maintenance for equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Able to perform physically exerting duties in a warehouse environment (seasonal temp fluctuations).
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to warehouse personnel through written and/or oral instruction, including unloading, outbound staging and loading, verifying and labeling of freight.
• Supervise tasks performed by warehouse personnel.
• Complete reports and records in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot machine and equipment malfunctions and report to maintenance personnel.
• Advise associates on care and preservation of product and use of equipment.
• Ensure high-quality customer service by assisting associates in warehouse functions.
• Enforce safety, quality, and productivity procedures.
• Collaborate with other warehouse associates.
