Job summary

Johnstone Supply in Summerville, SC is seeking a warehouse supervisor to oversee daily operations including receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, and shipping. You will lead a team, ensure safety, and drive efficiency using ERP systems.

The role requires forklift experience, OSHA knowledge, and 1 year of supervisory work in warehousing. HVAC wholesale familiarity is a plus, with strong emphasis on accuracy and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 1 year working in a lead or supervisory capacity in a warehouse environment.
• Experience operating forklift and other warehouse equipment safely and competently.
• Experience with inventory management systems.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and procedures.
• Preferred: experience in inventory control; ERP software experience in warehouse environment; HVAC wholesale industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities of warehouse staff to ensure accurate receiving, inventory, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Oversee inbound PO reconciliation, cycle counts, and adherence to SOPs.
• Monitor staffing, budgets, and fulfillment to meet performance objectives.
• Maintain safe work environment and lead safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with leadership to optimize processes and customer service.
