VSE is seeking a 2nd shift Warehouse Lead to oversee daily operations and inventory control. You will manage a team in a fast-paced warehouse, ensuring accurate receipts, safe handling, and adherence to SAP processes. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities are essential.

The role requires 2–3 years in warehousing, proficiency in English, and the ability to lift 25 pounds. Exposure to PIV, MHE, and pallet jacks is expected.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of warehouse/logistics experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Position requires frequent sitting and some walking, standing, climbing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• ERP system experience with inventory management experience preferred.
• SAP experience preferred

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operation, coordinate inventory and lead team to ensure safe and efficient workflow
• Work as a part of a team in a high stress, fast paced environment
• Must be detail-oriented, organized and have the ability to multi-task
• Receive over 760,000 items annually as part of a team
• Unload parts into the facility by utilizing equipment (PIV, MHE, Pallet Jacks)
• Ensure all receipts of goods are documented and verified against the packaging slip accompanying the item
• Cross-check all boxes against the freight manifest and inspect for damages
• Report any damage or discrepancy to the carrier and document it
• Unpack all parts within a controlled environment and receive into SAP
• Match customer service orders to incoming vendor repair parts and place in container
• Validate quantity discrepancies and document issues with Quality Team
• Route new parts and airworthiness certification to storeroom
• Coordinate dock activities with Storeroom, Repair Business and Service Center
• Escalate problem parts for timely resolution with Materials Supervisor
• Assist in clearing documents and Open Purchase Orders in SAP MB01
• Monitor unloading fuel into storage tanks ensuring safety and spill control
