VMC Group is seeking a highly motivated 2nd Shift Supervisor to join our dynamic warehouse team in Houston, TX. You will oversee shift operations, guide staff, ensure safety, and drive efficiency in receiving, storage, picking, and shipping.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of supervisory experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with warehouse management systems. This role requires evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of the second shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in WMS and related software.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse staff on the second shift, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee receiving, storing, picking, and shipping activities while ensuring safety and compliance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and accuracy.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain OSHA-compliant practices.
• Prepare and maintain reports on inventory, shipping/receiving, and KPI metrics.
