Job summary

Lamb Weston in American Falls, ID, is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead a 12-hour shift team and guide daily warehouse operations. You will mentor up to 30 associates, ensure safety compliance, manage labor plans, and collaborate with maintenance and inventory teams to meet performance goals.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and a hands-on approach to warehouse activities, with opportunities for professional growth within a global food company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives and team members in developing safety culture towards world class through reporting of incidents and near misses, escalating safety concerns, and ensuring completion of monthly training
• Actively demonstrate the ability to understand and lead our Lamb Weston Vision, Mission, and Values
• Manage up to 30 warehouse team members (hire, onboard, train, mentor, and develop)
• Work, Lead and Resource team members by being available on the floor.
• Deliver G-force data, paperwork errors, and safety infractions, with action plans against data to respective team member
• Communicate and work with maintenance team to ensure upkeep of equipment. This includes investigation and reporting of any building and/or equipment damage.
• Create performance/disciplinary actions to address deficiencies and submit for review to Warehouse Operations Manager
• Plan labor for shift with the utilization of timekeeping system, schedules, and forecasting tools for respective shift to meet volume and cost performance goals established by management
• Participate in monthly facility inspections/audits
• Work with maintenance department to ensure building infrastructure and equipment are in good operating condition
• Work with inventory department when necessary to ensure cycle count, thermometer and calibration program complies with company program
• Support training of team members on warehouse equipment (ie. forklifts, loading/unloading of railcars/trucks) and helps enforce safe behaviors on equipment
