Job summary

Lamb Weston in Warden, WA is seeking a Team Leader Production to supervise a manufacturing shift and drive daily operations. You will guide a 15‑50 person team, ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, and identify process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree, or 4+ years of relevant industry/work experience, or supervisory/management experience.
  • Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience.

  • Self‑motivated and able to multi‑task while leading others.
  • Must be able to regularly lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs.

Team Leader Production

Location: Warden, WA

Job Description Summary

The Team Leader Production opportunity develops future leaders at Lamb Weston. This is a supervisor role where you will help your production team reach target goals, manage day‑to‑day operations, and identify areas of improvement in the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and ensure the safety of a production team of 15-50 people per shift; attain production and quality goals.
  • Oversee improvement areas throughout the production process; guide production resources, materials, processes, and equipment.
  • Support continuous improvement goals in safety, quality, cost, and customer service; manage and own various functions of the business and create an engaged, team‑oriented work environment.
  • Monitor production to ensure quality, productivity, and cost standards are maintained.
  • Provide team member training to ensure teams perform job responsibilities effectively and safely.
  • Assist with the supervision of sanitation operations as necessary to promote and maintain a clean and food safe environment.
  • Enforce plant rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Evaluate team member performance and provide guidance for performance improvement.
  • Participate in the support of plant and company safety programs by promoting and maintaining a high level of safety awareness and adherence to requirements (lock‑out/tag‑out, PPE, confined space entry, etc.).
Education & Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree, minimum 4‑years of relevant industry/work experience, or supervisory/management experience required.
  • High School diploma/GED required.
  • Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem‑solving and organizational skills.
  • A self‑motivated individual able to multi‑task and lead others.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to work various shifts (weekdays, weekends, day, swing, grave) based on scheduling needs.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of plant equipment and safety is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a food‑processing environment is a plus.
Physical Demands
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit.
  • Regularly required to use hands to handle, feel, and reach.
  • Regularly required to taste and smell.
  • Regularly required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts.
  • Exposure to extreme cold, extreme heat, vibration.
  • Exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.
  • Noise level is moderate.

Pay Rate or Range: $71,410.00 – $107,110.00
