Job summary

Bay Converting Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in High Point, NC to actively lead daily warehouse and production operations within our metal building insulation manufacturing facility.

You will supervise General Laborers, Material Handlers, and Machine Operators, participate in machine setup and operation, ensure safety compliance, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; technical training preferred.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing/warehouse with leadership role.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop production teams.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards, lean principles, and quality control.
• Proficient with ERP or inventory systems and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and quality standards.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and obtain forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise General Laborers, Material Handlers, and Machine Operators to meet production goals.
• Assign daily tasks, set priorities, monitor performance and safety.
• Conduct safety talks, meetings, and performance feedback.
• Coordinate scheduling, purchasing, and shipping to ensure material availability.
• Oversee laminator and band saw operations to maintain flow and minimize downtime.
• Operate forklifts and other handling equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate production records and KPI reporting.
• Fill in for plant management as needed.
