Job summary

Bay Insulation of Minnesota is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse and production operations, including supervising General Laborers, Material Handlers, and Machine Operators. You will support laminator and band saw setups, operate forklifts, and ensure on-time order fulfillment with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing/warehouse leadership, strong ERP and MS Office skills, and the ability to read work orders and quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or technical training preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or production operations, with leadership experience.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop production teams.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing safety standards, lean principles, and quality control processes.
• Proficiency with ERP or inventory management systems, Microsoft Office, and production documentation.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and quality standards.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in a production environment.
• Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, coach, and hold accountable General Laborers, Material Handlers, and Machine Operators.
• Assign daily tasks, establish priorities, and monitor performance to meet production goals and delivery timelines.
• Conduct safety talks, team meetings, and performance feedback discussions.
• Oversee laminator and band saw operations to ensure continuous material flow and minimal downtime.
• Coordinate scheduling, purchasing, and shipping to ensure materials and products are available when needed.
• Track and report KPIs, safety, quality, productivity, and inventory metrics.
• Fill in for Plant Management as needed.
