Job summary

OnTrac is hiring a Warehouse Package Handler Lead in Bohemia, NY. You will supervise loading, unloading, and sorting while guiding a team and training new hires. This role collaborates with Area and Operations Managers to maintain safety and performance metrics.

The position emphasizes hands-on leadership, process oversight, and adherence to safety protocols in a night shift environment. Local candidates preferred with 18+ eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of industry experience.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Oversee offloading, loading, and sorting of packages to support distribution goals.
• Train new hires and guide Package Handlers with hands-on demonstrations.
• Monitor safety protocols and enforce dock, conveyor, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Check in/out third-party drivers and ensure accurate documentation and manifests.
• Support metrics and uphold company values in daily operations.
