Job summary

Nestlé Health Science is seeking a Warehouse Operator II for our 1st shift (6:00AM-2:30PM) to support our pharmaceutical and nutrition product operations. The role focuses on safe forklift operation, accurate shipping/receiving, and maintaining organized inventory within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Candidates should have 1+ years in manufacturing or warehousing, a valid forklift certification, and the ability to read and follow English instructions.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in Manufacturing and/or Warehousing.
• Ability to obtain valid forklift operator certification.
• Proven experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
• Basic mathematical skills. (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
• Ability to speak, read, write in English and comprehend simple instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely to move materials within the warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to designated areas.
• Load and unload trucks, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against relevant documentation, such as bills of lading, packing lists, and purchase orders.
• Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance or safety issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Maintain accurate inventory records by performing cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and updating inventory management systems.
• Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas, ensuring materials are properly labeled, stored, and easily accessible.
• Collaborate with warehouse team members to coordinate daily activities, prioritize tasks, and ensure efficient workflow.
• Provide updates, report issues, and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Pick, pack, and stage materials accurately for shipment, following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Perform general housekeeping tasks and other duties as assigned.
