Job summary

Expeditors is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in the Lockbourne, OH area to lead and develop the warehouse team in daily operations, safety, and budget adherence. Responsibilities

• Supervising and coaching Warehouse teams
• Weekly team huddles with Warehouse Lead
• Monthly 1-on-1s with Warehouse Lead
• Assist in annual performance reviews
• Assist in annual improvement objectives
• Ensure a safe and secure work environment
• Maintain a clean and professional facility
• Maintain equipment and maintenance contracts
• Provide input to warehouse budget and staffing
• Ensure staffing to meet demand including flexible workforce
• Oversee staffing of permanent and contingent staff
• Cover operations with qualified staff
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and development
• Support staff versatility and cross-training
• Adhere to OPS and KPI standards
• Drive safety, quality, delivery and cost reductions through improvements
• Participate in transitions and onboarding of new customers
• Manage inventory, variances, and customer exceptions
• Conduct process audits for security and safety
• Allocate workloads for peak activity
• Communicate policies and regulations clearly
