Job summary

NFI is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to manage daily warehouse activities in Nashville. You will supervise staff, assign tasks by skill, and ensure shipments are processed accurately and on time.

You’ll coordinate equipment use, monitor productivity, and partner with leadership to balance labor and improve operations. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field, or 1–5 years supervisory experience.
• High School Diploma required.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan preferred).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Experience with or willingness to learn performance metrics and Lean/Six Sigma tools.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements shipping and receiving schedules to meet goals.
• Supervises warehouse personnel and assigns tasks based on skills.
• Oversees inbound/outbound shipments for timeliness and accuracy.
• Ensures efficient use of equipment and coordinates maintenance.
• Drafts daily end-of-shift reports and communicates results.
