Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Supervisor, Warehouse Operations in Bedford, OH. You will lead a team of 15-20 associates to ensure accurate pick, pack and ship processes while meeting safety, quality, and efficiency targets.

You will monitor metrics, coach staff, and collaborate with HR and cross-functional teams to sustain high service levels and inventory accuracy. This role emphasizes on-floor leadership with process improvement focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; Bachelor's degree a plus.
• 3-5 years related experience preferred.
• Experience leading a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Pivot Tables and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage a team of 15-20 warehouse associates to achieve timely distribution and receipt of products and motivate employees to ensure productivity and quality targets.
• Monitor productivity standards and hold staff accountable to daily/weekly/monthly metrics; provide timely feedback.
• Adhere to budgetary guidelines and meet DC objectives while maintaining quality and inventory standards.
• Coordinate continuous improvement projects and initiatives on the floor.
• Schedule workforce daily to ensure proper staffing for pick, replenish, restock, locate, and ship activities.
• Coordinate maintenance of equipment and oversee preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Engage in employee development including training, coaching and performance appraisals.
• Balance floor duties with administrative tasks and collaborate with HR daily.
• Interview and hire lead and associate level staff; manage disciplinary actions as needed.
• Prepare ad hoc reports using Excel and other programs.
• Maintain attendance/PTO records and scheduling integrity.
• Ensure safe operations in accordance with OSHA, DEA, FDA, and local regulations.
