Job summary

iJility seeks an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily distribution center activities, ensuring efficient warehouse management and timely shipping. The role requires leadership, strong communication, and hands-on experience with warehouse processes and WMS systems.

Responsibilities include staff supervision, procedure development, inventory coordination, safety enforcement, and collaboration with other departments to satisfy customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5 years experience as Warehouse Operations Supervisor or similar role in a distribution center.
• Experience with warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping/receiving, and 3PL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including hiring and training.
• Develop and implement procedures to optimize productivity and ensure policy compliance.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the inventory control team.
• Oversee loading/unloading of trucks and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Use warehouse management systems to track inventory, generate reports, and analyze data for improvements.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and adhere to OSHA guidelines.
