Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations management within a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds consistently.
• Powered Industrial vehicle experience is preferred.
• Mobile hand-held device experience is preferred.
• Strong multitasking ability.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• MS Excel and Word proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Identify issues affecting customer satisfaction caused by operational issues and act as a key change agent for the organization in developing solutions.
• Manage inventory related functions to achieve goals for operational metrics, including shipping time, order fill rate, inventory location, and shipping accuracy.
• Ensure that the annual objectives for productivity, accuracy, and timelines are met.
• Develop and manage a strong team, oversee training, coaching, and evaluation of all employees necessary to meet or exceed goals.
• Ensure that safety, security, productivity, and job satisfaction of employees align with company objectives.
• Manage warehouse inventory control programs and assure location and accuracy meets our corporate requirements.
• Actively measure quality and strive for continuous improvement.
• Continually seek ways to improve the overall distribution process and identify best practices.
• Maintain compliance for areas of responsibility and participate in internal and external audits.
• Other duties may be assigned to achieve business objectives.
